A three day National Seminar is being organised from 17-19 march 2012 on the topic "Application of Green Chemistry in the Remediation of environment" at MLSM College, Darbhanga (Bihar) in collaboration with Assocition of Chemistry Teachers, Homi Bhabha Science Centre(TIFR), Mumbai.

Our Objective
Our health & daily life relies on man-made substances such as pharmaceuticals, synthetic fibres, plastics, fibre, chemicals, which are beneficial but produce unwanted waste along with target products. Inefficient recovery of solvents cause environmental problems.Thus the development of environmentally benign & clear synthetic technology is a goal of researchers & industries. We strive to come up with alternative solutions and simulataneosly create awareness about green Chemistry and its potential in remediation of environment.
